SPONSOR US

The Youth Voices webseries and podcast are at the heart of our initiative. We aim to create a platform where young people can share their stories, explore their passions, and connect with their community. We are dedicated to producing fun, engaging, and positive youth-driven content.

We kicked off youth voices in 2023 when we received a grant to produce “season 1” - but as is the case with all newcomers to the world of social media, content creation and online entertainment, we struggled to get exposure, which resulted in us not gaining any further funding.

So what next? We reassessed and looked at what went wrong, or what could have been done better - and the answer was that it wasn’t the voices of the youth in what we created.

The funding we were granted was a resilience and recovery grant to encourage young people to reengage with the community post floods, so there were some caveats in place when we received the funding, and we were limited to focusing on stories within the local area (Lismore and Surrounds) and the main priority and focus needed to be the mental health and wellbeing of the children, not the end product - in simpler terms, they government organisation giving us the grant wanted a program to give kids something to do, that was all about local and produced locally, and the end result didn’t matter. It was the experience they were funding, not the product. But this wasn’t a failed product- instead it’s become a pitch video to showcase what we can achieve and what we can do. It shows the level of effort, creativity and quality we can turn this project into - we just need the right subjects now! Through that funding we were able to capture the exact turn around times to create the content, test out our gear and make sure we’re fully equipped, secure the right team of adults to spearhead the project and work out a precise budget to make this a permanent ongoing project.

We believe that strong partnerships are essential to our success. We invite local businesses and organisations to collaborate with us in the following ways:

  • Space Donation: Provide free or discounted spaces for workshops, recordings, and events.

  • Product Testing: Offer products for our youth to test and review on our platforms.

  • Venue Access: Provide discounted or free entry to venues for filming and content creation.

  • Business Partnerships: Collaborate on content creation, with D-Vine Creatives offering ad creation in return.

Benefits of Partnership:

We acknowledge that we’re new and not an influencer with millions of followers, so brand visibility isn’t something we can offer right away - but that’s not why we’re here anyway. Our own brand visibility is a bonus, we simply want to be established enough to gain more financial supports and funding. A lot of screen grants are awarded based on “credits” or current “visibility”, meaning to gain screen specific funding we need to have either won awards for films and content, or be known online so that there’s a return on the investment so to speak. We’re seeking support from the community to help us grow and in return:

  • We can increase brand visibility among youth audiences & families if we cross promote.

  • You can gain positive association with a youth-empowering initiative.

  • You can have the opportunity to support the local community, while we do the same.

  • And you can have access to creative content and ad creation services (we are qualified videographers after all!)

Our Commitment to Partners:

  • High-quality content that showcases your business or organisation.

  • Dedicated promotion across our platforms.

  • Transparent reporting on the impact of our partnership.

  • A collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship.
